Equality is an important value in YKI’s operations, and we strive to ensure and promote it in our activities. The equality representatives for 2025 are Veera Grönqvist and Jenni Hakala. They can be contacted via the equality and harassment form, on Telegram, or in person. The responses submitted through the form are handled confidentially by a small group of board members, including the equality representatives and the guild’s chairperson. It is also possible to submit a response anonymously. Anonymous feedback related to harassment is only addressed on a general level. Direct contact with the equality representatives is also handled confidentially, and any further action will be taken anonymously if requested. The guild’s activities and events follow the principles of safer spaces as well as the Fair Conduct Plan. We continuously strive to improve equality and accessibility within our operations. Suggestions for improvements related to these topics can be submitted via either of the aforementioned forms. Additionally, the guild has an equality team, which provides an opportunity to actively promote equality within the guild. You can apply to join the team through this link.
